 Last week I came across this interesting article and thought it definitely is useful to keep up our Workout motivation too ! It’ s quite interesting !
Its about Enclothed Cognition !!
Enclothed cognition is a term coined by Hajo Adam and Adam D. Galinsky in their experiment from 2012.It relates to the effect which clothing has upon a persons mental process and the way they think, feel, and function, in areas like attention, confidence, or abstract thinking.
So if we wear gym clothes or specific workout clothes it definitely takes us in that mind frame and we give our best performance !!
Secondly if our workout gear is quite snug (yet comfortable ) it pushes you to do Workouts more regularly when we see those inches melting away !!! That’s some Inspiration , isn’t it ? 🎽
when you feel good , your mindset shifts to self care and Workout is one aspect of it !!! It pushes you to follow your plan more diligently !!!
As for the shoes , I will recommend a separate pair for home workout as it helps with better balance , stability and good ankle support . A good quality shoe will help to reduce impact stress too !! 👟
Most of you mayumay beWbe clothes and shoes but those who don’t , should surely try this !
So put on that trendy active wear as well as some good pair of workout shoes and get ready to smash your targets day after day !!!! 😀💪
